Summit Entertainment pone en funcionamiento la maquinaria de ‘Man on a Ledge’, la historia de un policía en prisión por un crimen que él no cometió. Y para escapar de la cárcel, Nick Cassidy tendrá su oportunidad unas horas más tarde de haberlo pensado, recién afeitado en una lujosa habitación contemplando el panorama desde el alféizar de la ventana, a unos cuantos metros del suelo, en un edificio de Nueva York y con un cordón policial a sus pies. Nick requiere entonces la presencia de un negociador, en este caso una chica que desconoce formar parte de un plan mucho mayor.

Esta es la premisa de partida de la nueva cinta de Sam Worthington como principal protagonista en ‘Man on a Ledge’, producción dirigida por Asger Leth y en la que estará acompañado por Elizabeth Banks, Jamie Bell, Kyra Sedgwick, Anthony Mackie y Ed Harris. El próximo 4 de septiembre se estrenará el film ‘Gamer’ escrito y dirigido por Mark Neveldine y Brian Taylor (‘Crank’, ‘Crank: High Voltage’), con un reparto de actores tan interesante y atractivo como ecléctico: Gerard Butler, Michael C. Hall, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Zoe Bell, Milo Ventimiglia, John Leguizamo y Kyra Sedgwick entre otros. Atención spoiler. ‘Gamer’ es una película futurista sobre un juego llamado “Slayers” que se caracteriza porque un solo jugador puede controlar al resto de millones de seres humanos a través del modo multijugador. Pero uno de ellos intentará liberarse a sí mismo y al resto del mundo. Fin de spoiler.

Lakeshore Entertainment ha elaborado al efecto un cartel interactivo (disculpen las molestias pero no puedo traerlo a colación, aunque sí indicarles dónde pueden interactuar con él: aquí), una idea bastante “a juego” con la temática de la película.
